Magnetik's DIY "Washing Machine" Subwoofer project
230l Tempest based on modified Adire plans.

I bought some cheap sound
deadening spray from Walmart.

IMG_0457.jpg

... it's called Mar-Hyde by
Bondo.  At $2.50 a can...

IMG_0458.jpg

I used 3 can's..because they were cheap.

IMG_0459.jpg

After it was dry I coated it with black spray paint
to keep it from smudging.  That worked great

cutting my flush mount on my baffle.

you can see the modification on the circle jig.

IMG_0462.jpg

PERFECT.  13 7/8" cutout w/ flush mount.

IMG_0463.jpg

I decided to double up on the baffle..

IMG_0464.jpg

this would allow me to screw the 4x4
legs from under the top baffle...

IMG_0465.jpg

I still know it's important to have a test piece.

if you didn't know what the guts of the
PE amp looks like and wanted to know.

IMG_0477.jpg

I dread having to cut this
3x3 because it's still wet.

IMG_0478.jpg

theres got to be a better way to cut 3x3's...
(honey... I need a table saw!)

the risers for the legs.
