I bought some cheap
sound
deadening spray from Walmart.
... it's called
Mar-Hyde by
Bondo. At $2.50 a can...
I used 3
can's..because they were cheap.
After it was dry I
coated it with black spray paint
to keep it from smudging. That worked great
cutting my
flush mount on my baffle.
you can see the modification on the circle
jig.
PERFECT. 13
7/8" cutout w/ flush mount.
I decided to double
up on the baffle..
this would allow me to screw the 4x4
legs from under the top baffle...
I still know
it's important to have a test piece.

amp temporarily hooked up to my old sub
until my Tempest comes in
the rear of the
plate amp.
what will later
become the legs.
if you didn't know what the guts of the
PE amp looks like and wanted to know.
I dread having to
cut this
3x3 because it's still wet.
theres got to be a better way to cut
3x3's...
(honey... I need a table saw!)
blocks cut out that
will be
the risers for the legs.
another shot.
